Oh-- You're all hopeless. Stay here, I'll go and get mine.
[Then she's off out of the door, no doubt leaving him a bit confused. When she gets back, she wiggles a hairbrush at him and finds a chair to pull over.]
[Mildly confused? Yes. He eyes the brush a bit warily before taking a seat in the chair, crossing one leg over the other and gripping the seat of the chair in his hands.]
Do you honestly think that we just happen to keep those sort of things around?
I had thought you might have at least one here right now, circumstances being what they are.
[She huffs out a sigh that's only semi-patient, stepping up behind him and starting to gently tease the tangles out of his hair with the brush. As she does, she eventually starts humming a little. It's soothing, in a way.]
Yes, amidst the constant paranoia of death, we have time to find things more suited to our current situation.
[The snark is strong with this one!
Once Poison starts in on actually brushing through his hair, though, he stills, making small sounds of pain on the occasion she hits a snag, but otherwise being surprisingly cooperative.
That doesn't stop him from looking back at her for a moment.]
[She bops the back of his head very gently at the snarky comment with the flat of the brush but is otherwise very well behaved, working from the ends up to get the snags out. When he looks at her, she shoots him a cheeky little smile.]
You'll see. I think you'll like it. It's very practical.
[To her credit, she doesn't laugh at that look. Seeing Cyclonus look positively bewildered is something she had never thought she'd get to see. Instead she brushes his hair out until it's like silk and the brush is gliding through it, then sets it to one side.]
[It's a strange feeling, to be sitting while someone stand behind you and messes with such a foreign new feature as hair, but Cyclonus gradually relaxes. Especially once there starts to be less and less pain from Poison yanking on a tangle... it almost becomes soothing.
He simply turns his head just slightly enough to look at her before nodding in response.]
[It's the first time she's done this on someone who wasn't herself, but after a couple of false starts she begins coaxing Cyclonus' hair into a braid, keeping it neat and elegant.]
Does it feel alright? You must tell me if it's pulling on your scalp.
[He frowns in slight discomfort after one of the false starts yanks on his scalp, growling quietly. Once Poison begins on actually braiding his hair, he begins to relax -- as much as someone like Cyclonus can, anyway.]

A... brush?
[He knows what they are, vaguely, but... does Poison seriously think he'd have one?]

Sit down, Cyclonus.

I think I'm going to braid it.

I'm going to trust you on that.
